Tulpa means a paranormal phenomenon or object created by spiritual or mental forces. Modern practitioners use the term to refer to a type of self-contained imaginary being that practitioners believe to be intelligent and relatively independent. Tulps have thoughts, emotions, and personalities separate from their host. People who have one or more tulpas are "tulpa keepers". Tulpas can be created either through a set of meditative techniques or by chance when someone has an imaginary friend that persists later in life. A persistent form of hallucination. It arises under the influence of an individual's feelings, in which consciousness expands and transcends space-time boundaries. Tulpa is able to improve the mental state of its host. The host is the person who created the Tulpa.
